jdmda9, if you are going to start swapping them.

might as well get a k24 with a k20 head. it works better than a k20 with a k24 head.

I was thinking about doing a K swap into an EG too, but for 7-10 grand, it sounds like I'd be better off just buying an RSX. Anyone know how much swapping a K-series into an EK would cost?

Just remember, some k24's take a little more modification to put a k20a/a2/z1/z3 head on. I do know someone who is making 270+whp NA on a CRV k24 without the "vtec" head. Its far from streetable and they are about 1700 miles from here.

Honestly, I would probably just get an RSX as well.

besides the amount to get it running do u have good health insurance in case your lack of driving skills kick in? i would not recommend a swap for anyone who hasnt drove anything to that nature, much less a kswap, totally different heres the two things that u should consider, A: Do you have ridicuously fat pockets and B: Can you drive?

You can find them already swapped for between $7500-9000 but that is not what this thread was about

Well it being common shouldn't ever be an issue with a Honda, because no matter what swap you do(if its practical), then it will be fairly common. It just doesn't make too much sense to me, seems like a GSR or type-R swap would be a far better option. You could reach whatever goals you have with either or those and save yourself a lot of money.
