    Default B20 turbo setup question???

Is a B20b turbo setup with a GSR tranny a good setup? What are my pros and what are my cons? And if so what is the best motor build setup to go with?

    hell NO.

b20 has some weak ass sleves. they can take 8 psi MAX reliably. get basically any motor besides a b20.

b20 is best left NA. better have it sleeved if you do boost though or you'll be buying a another block anyway. you might be better off boring over a ls with a block guard. probably save you some $$$ and won't have to deal with yanking the motor out of you car after you put it in.

obviously some peeps on here dont know **** when it comes to b20s. i ve installed 8 b20bs including my own. they all push 250-275ish on 8-10 psi all day every day drivers no probs in 4 + years. just gotta find that sweet spot. no b20z or high compression crv motors as high compression b20 with a small cc chamber vtec head is even higher still then add boost ontop of that... thats what causes higher cylinder pressures and probs with those particular sleeves...stick with a 8:8:1 compression b20b and remember to open up the intake valve pockets on th pistons slightly as the v tec valves and lift in vtec are bigger and higher. and swap in the stock rod bolts for some arps so you can get a reliable 8000 rpms out of em...got almost 60,000 boosted miles on my b20. good luck.
LET ME GUESS... YOU MISSED A GEAR!
