I can provide you with an ECU for tuning. PM me for details.

The missing link is really outdated, so is an FMU. What youll want to do is get a complete turbo kit.

Check out the sticky at the top of this forum with all the details.

missing link makes it so that MAP sensor doesnt notice that the air in the intake mani. is on boost instead of vacuum, so that it wont throw a CEL when you actually hit boost.

    Right?

    Right?
    Kinda

The factory ECU only reads up to 100Kpa absolute pressure or 14.7psia absolutepressure (dont worry ill explain)

The factory ecu is not configured to run POSITIVE Pressure (boost) so when you turbo your car and run a stock ECU the second you hit boost it will throw a CEL. Your ECU has TABLES and the tables correspond to atmospheric pressure (vacuum, load, etc) and RPM. Imagine a factory ECU reads from

    0KPA to 100 KPA (Atmospheric)
(100KPA is 0 VACUUM, or WOT)

Now imagine a boosted car reads from 0KPA to 150 KPA(positive pressure)

When your ECU gets to the 100KPA spot , thats the end of its data stream. When you go past that, the ECU has NO REFERENCE for what needs to happen, so it wigs out, throws a CEL.

The missing link simply bleeds boost off BEFORE the map sensor so the ECU never sees it. The only problem with that is that your ECU still only sees to 100kpa when in fact it SHOULD be operating in the 100-150kpa tables. So drivability suffers, power suffers, etc.

When someone CHIPs an ecu, we load software that enables the ecu to see past the stock 100kpa reading, ie it can read boost.

If you get bored, look up Absolute Pressure vs Gauge Pressure

    Look up Atmospheric Conditions

    Look up KPa

You can keep AC no problem

Most hondas around here go to Mainstream to get tuned, IIRC they charge $140/hour. Most boosted cars are 2-3 hours.
