Bought the bike, it still has the rims that I put on it from last summer. $4K for the pair of BST CF wheels. Less than 500 miles on them - so far.

2013 Corsa Blue Optima SX 2.0T
Could you tell any difference from before and after you put them, as far as
speed or anything else??
both sets of wheels are bad ass!! i see alot of bad ass parts on the 1st r1, ap brakes, ohlins forks... do you do track days or is it race only bike? would love to see more pics of it
It's a night and day differnce. Bike turns with zero effort - even at high speeds. The Marchsinis used to be on that bike. They are very light, but no comparison to the BSTs.Originally Posted by SRCRX
This one is a street bike - doesn't see the track. I have had several track bikes, but I only do track days, no real racing. I am selling my other R1, and will get another track bike. The R1 is too expensive to throw down the track, so I'd rather let a friend of mine get it for cheap first.Originally Posted by JDM-95-Hatch
I love the craftsmanship of all the parts on it, it's all squared off CNC'd aluminum, from the calipers to the shock mounts with counter sunk allen bolts. Even the rear swing arm is rectangular steel stock with a square aluminum hub...I love how nothing is cast and rounded and cheap looking. Pure function.Originally Posted by David88vert

i want on my huffy!
I know. I've put a lot of work into the bike, so has he. Only two things that I want to change now - want a set of Rizoma mirrors for the street, and want to change the front brake m/c. I need to install the Translogic quickshifter, and recalibrate the HUD next though.Originally Posted by speedminded
Badass. I looked into get some for my bike since its all carbon but I found out there not to good for the street.
One Big Ass Mistake America
bad a$$ wheels. I just polished the lip on my bike.
They are fine for the street. The BSTs are much nicer than the Dymags, and are sturdier also. Had a set of Dymags for the R1 before. Finish was not as good.Originally Posted by SLOWR/T
definately the best looking wheels you can put on a bike!!!
1999 Mazda Miata- For Sale $4,500 FRIM!
where you been dave? I need to see this bike!!!
I like the gold wheels more.
those cf wheels are sick... seriously!!
Been working. Riding just a little bit.Originally Posted by BlknbluRX7
I know what you mean. If you are from 30' away, the gold wheels look better than the CF ones. You only ntice the CF if you look closely. The gold always draws attention.Originally Posted by LOLABOX
