Ive owned ALOT of trucks. Driven every kind, beat on most every kind and I have atleast one friend with anything youve listed.

Personally I pick chevrolet. Chevy makes the best gas trucks in my opinion. The 5.3 vortec is a well well well built motor. Its based off the LS1 motor thus it being an LS series motor. Ive seen 2 300+ k milage motors that have had a 100 shot on them for over 100k miles. Try that in a ford.

Ford, is a good truck. I like the looks alot but the little 4.6 just doesnt cut it for me. The gas mileage sucks and the power is a joke.

Dodge, the hemi eats gas. Like 8 mpg. I know you don't care about gas but thats just ridiculous. The 4.7 is a good motor, however again the gas isnt that great either compared to a Chevy.

Toyota. I have been a HUGE fan of Toyota for the longest time. However the Tundra is a joke. The pre make over ones are TINY. The cabs are small, they really arent a full size truck. Going on to the new body style, nice truck but I don't think its been out long enough to fully test it. Yes its the fastest full size 1500 size you can get without going into the Lightnings/SS Silverados or Single cab Hemi Rams. And yes it has HUGE brakes. But again, just driving the truck I feel that its cheaply made. I have owned an 83, 85, 87, 99 and an 03 and I personally think the older trucks are much tougher than the new tundras.

I trust Chevy. The new ones with gas mileage program get INSANE mileage. The ones with Cylinder shut off get in the 30s around town. Thats crazy. I want one pretty bad. However my 01 Ext cab 4x4 gets 22 on the highway with 130k on it. I harp on it pretty good like a truck should, I pull with it constantly more than I should, it idles at job sites all day long, and if some integra cuts me off I can be an ******* and drag my tires as I pass him

Also for cost effective ness, Chevy seems to have the best price for a Gasser. If you deciede to go Diesel, Dodge Cummins Commonrail all the way. Best diesel motor still made today.

Oh, when you figure out what you want, PM me, I am a wholesaler I can hook you up.
