    this thread title should be "polishing a turd"

    why not just get something with vtec so you can have reliable power?

    uhhh.....
    many d-series do have vtec. also, vtec doesn't mark the line between reliable and non-reliable engines. boosted d's can be very reliable if tuned and setup properly, ive put 50k+ on boosted d16z6. i even boosted my d15b2 for a short period of time and it held fine until it started smoking from having nearly 200k!
