I was charged about $65 by a forum sponsor a couple years ago to mount & balance two 16" wheels/tires that I brought to them. They didn't even have to rack a car or anything!

It was around $15 to mount & $15 to balance plus tax and disposal fee but I was in a bind: had a flat on the way to work, hitched a ride back home, got the race jack and stands & two tires from the house, woke up the roommate that didn't hear his phone ringing before, off to the shop to make sure they had time, back to the car, left my car on the jack stands on the side of a 285 on-ramp, back to the shop to swap them out, then back to the Integra that I thought for sure would be stolen by then, haha!

That was all after having a blow-out on the other side the night before so my only full-size spare was on the car. At least we know my LSD was functioning properly to have 2 flats in less than 24 hours!

From now on, two sets of wheels and tires minimum so no more BS like that!
