Default VNT VGT GT2056V (Jeep Liberty Diesel) On a T3 Turbo Install

This is a pretty cool article about a VNT VGT install on a Mercedes Turbo Diesel.

There is another one on the VW diesel club site. I have it at work and will post later. Anyone considering a Turbo conversion should think about VNT/VGT.

Neat write up, the liberty turbo actually appears to be smaller (visibly of course) what kind of power gains are they getting with it? I really like the original airesearch on those MB diesels because the WG is a valve type like an external rather than a flap bypass.

Here is the GT2559v on the mercedes diesel.

The driveability factor is phenomenal. Generally boost goes up as fast as you can press the pedal down. With diesels its all about air, fuel and EGT. These will flow more than enough for the OM617 3 liter diesel and run ~20 psi. Most of those with the swap have not touched the fuel. Others have been tinkering around with the fuel.

you know that cummins makes a 4bt diesel that jeep actually puts in the wrangler, they are built in ohio but you cannot buy one here...there shipped everywhere else though. you get this rolling and need a hand let me know, my cummins 12v put down 502rwhp and 997ftlb at the tires, i love diesel stuff, fuel mods, intake mods, up the boost...and get better gas mileage than stock! not to mention i can get bio diesel by the 55 gallon drum for 110$, not veggie oil that has to be heated etc...ready to run, pour in the tank and go bio-diesel!
