resleeve the bottom end and put in a block guard and you could boost. if not then thats a no go.

That's about the best way to go. But if you are going boost then I would just stick with B18B head and block. It's cheaper that way.

But then again, some people like the B16 heads since they flow better and you get more hp. But just do some research (google) and see what you find.

Good question. I would only guess that the LS/V would take more boost in the long run. But it's all on how you build it.

B20 sleeves are week, no more than 10psi or 275whp if you want it too last.

B18B or B18C sleeves can handle 400-450whp no problem. stock.

The B20b sleeves are weak due to the design.
If you decide on an Ls short block use forged internals like: eagle forged rods, cp forged pistons(9:5.1 CR), arp rod bolts, arp head studs, acl bearings, etc..
If you want a 2 liter and more insurance than just resleeve it to 84mm(b20b spec). Golden Eagle mfg.
The cheaper route would just be an whole Ls longblock. You could do the Ls/vtec but that involves more money. You can use the b16 head or you can use a b18c head(the b18c will yeild .3 higher comprssion, i think).
Ls oem rods and pistons are garbage when it comes to turbo setups.
    Boost under slow construction...

just resleeve the b20 if you already have one and throw in forged rods and pistons.

Build it right or build it twice

And another vote for an LS/V setup. I put mine together and absolutely love it. It is very potent setup when built properly, but that goes for any setup.
