    Default b16 flywheel question

    so i got a b16 cable trans. nothing special. i bought a 7.5lb fadainza flywheel and stage 2 clutch.i was wondering if anyone has seen a major difference with the light weight flywheel good or bad.my buddy said that it seem to him it lost power due to the loss of touqe.

    Really.....Being that the b16 strong point isn't torque. That flywheel definately isn't going to help unless you have that car on a closed road course or something where you need to be rev matching.

    your buddy is true it makes it harder to launchi at the track because the lack of torque

    Hrmm ..

    When I put a 7lb flywheel in my B16 I would say there were a lot more pros than cons. You definitely have quicker acceleration .. I had it dynoed afterwards & I picked up + 3-5 WHP/WTQ.

    Only cons I have heard of was alot more spinning.
