    Default EM1 Turbo list

    Ok guys im about to buy a turbo and an LS swap. Question is WHAT ARE ALL THE IMPORTANT THINGS NECESSITIES TO RUN MY TURBO SET UP????

    I (will) have:

    -b18b
    -b16 tranny, ecu, harness
    -turbo kit wastegate, bov, turbo turbonetics 60-1 hifi .63, IC (piping), boost gauge, afr gauage,
    -going into my 99 EM1
    -OBD2
    -injectors
    -fuel pump
    -oil lines

    do i NEED a different ECu?? turbo timer? intake manifold??

    i dunno i just like the numbers they put on turbos PLUS i have 210K on my EM1 and want something a lil different

    You'll need a way of tuning. Chipped p28 for hondata or crome with a jumper harness. OR AEM...
    I'd probably run a different transmission...LS or GSR.
    I wouldn't consider AF ratio gauge and a turbo timer necessities.
    And you'll need to take off the "DOHC VTEC" sticker off the car.

    yea i would get a diff trany. I had a ls turbo with a b16 tranny and i was going into 5th gear at the track
