X2 even though I am angry at Porsche. They are now making the decisions at VW and Audi so they canned the R4 and R6 so they would not compete with the Caymen and are considering shutting down R8 production to keep the 100k plus German super car market clinched. Thats jut bad business. I scared to see what they do to Audis high performance sedans when the Panamerica comes out.

Riiiight. Audi has nothing to worry about. They also just added the S5 and S8 to the line.

S8 has been out for years. The S5 is pure sex. I drove one for the first time the other day. The new A/S 7 coming out is going to be hot as hell.

The S8 WAS out for years, but they stopped producing it. It is now back in production.

This is true. I saw a new S6 the other day. I can't wait till the RS6 comes out again. Twin Turbo V10 will be sick. I am interested in the new S4 with the supercharged V6.

    1. I wouldn't go to say they are making the decisions. Porsche more than anyone else doesn't want to take over VW even though they hold the largest stake.

    2. Are you taking about the RS4 and RS6? How are 4 door sedans/ wagons competing with a mid engined 2 seater.

Thats like saying Dodge canning the Magnum for the Viper to sell better.

    3. Porsche would never make a decision like that for two reasons.

    1. Porsche has always been about profit over quanity sold.
    2. The R8 has a two year waiting list and each car is loaded with profit.
    3. No matter how well the R8 does, it will never replace the 911 for those buyers so......No they arn't canning it till its not making profit.

    4. Porsche's Panamera still wont do anything with Audi's lineup, they'll just flood the market with theirs and Audi's cars.

Look at the Touareg vs Cayenne situation. Both are selling.
