    Default Aftercooler

I'm looking at the Vortech kit for my z28,should I spend the extra $1500 for the aftercooler kit or just go with the basic with just the S/C ? I know I can make more power with the aftercooler but I'm only looking to get 350-375 to the wheels.

I had the aftercooler, chose to sell it. Didn't really need it. Putting my FMIC on it instead. I didn't want to relocate a lot of stuff.

if you can afford it go with the aftercooler. i got an amazing deal on my kit so i didnt care that it wasnt coming with one. i can always get a meth/water kit. alot cheaper and very effective.

Thanks for the input, no where for a front mount on the Z28 without going aftermarket or cutting away at the factory one. Anyone think a top- mount w/ the SS cowl hood would work?

what year is your z28? i dont know how affective a top mount would be. even with the cowl hood, you wont have as much air hitting the heat exchanger as it would if it were in the front.

Go with Procharger. they are NUMBER 1 in the business. Most kits come with a intercooler.

number one in the business mayb but ****ty customer service from what i hear. cant go wrong either way. if you want a front mount inner cooler look into paxton, or procharger. if you already have a vortech you can get the FMIC kit from paxton, it will work with the vortech.
