    Default 5 Dream Car Garage

OK, Here goes. Hypothetically, you are on the street minding your own business and an eccentrc millionare approaches you with a briefcase full of cash. He says you can have the money ($500,000 to be precise), becasue he is a nice guy. He puts one stipulation on the gift and says you must purchase only cars and at least one has to be European. What would you purchase with the money after you got over the shock of being handed half a million dollars. Keep in mind if he catches wind that you bought something non-automotive he has several large men with hairy knuckles in his employ that WILL track you down.

What would you buy, preferrably a numbered list. Give a justificaton if you like. PLEASE try not to insult each others lists.

    MA
    P.S. This should be interesting...

    Ariel Atom-- Track, Modded ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~55k
    Ferrari F430-- Just to own a Ferrari~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~205k
Hummer H1-- Offroad beast for wheelin, modded whole 9 yards~~~45k
Audi S8-- Luxury car to drive to work ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~80k
    Porsche 997 or 993 Turbo-- Weekend car~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~120k

That should be right at +/- $500k..

Its so hard to have a limit, it would be definitely different if it was 5 dream car garage with unlimited funds

    @Frög
Hahahaa.. try getting a fully modded H1 for 45K.. lol

    Anyhow, here's my list:
Gallardo LP560-4 - $220K (weekend car, either that or an F430)
Brammo Ariel Atom - $50K (track car)
Range Rover Supercharged - $75K (offroader)
    Aston V8 Vantage - $100K (daily)
    Audi RS4 - $65K (grocery getter)
    <OR>
    997 GT3RS - $125K (weekend/track car)
Lotus ExigeS - $60K (track car)
    Aston V8 Vantage - $100K (daily)
    Audi RS4 - $65K (grocery getter)
Alfa 8C (if I could get one) - $150K (the first car to see after getting up and the last car before going to bed)

    EDIT:
On second thoughts, I'd buy a V8 Vantage and a 997 GT3RS and invest the rest for the future.

    1) Ferrari F430 : $173,079

    3) Audi RS4: $66,910
    4) Audi RS6: $75,000

GT3 RS Orange On Black - My favorite of all cars, I've never driven a 911 but I hear the experience is second to none.. $130k

67 Camaro.. Retro - Does American Muscle really have to be explained? I'd have a smile on my face every time it started up $60k

Audi S5 - Audi hit a home run with the design of the S5.. add 20's and the car is just stunning, this would surely be my daily. $60k

Nissan GT-R - Satisfy my need for Forced Induction.. and I hear its pretty quick $80k

FJ Cruiser - Grocery getter/Offroad fun $20k (Used)

I'm leaving $150k just to pay for frickin insurance, upkeep aint cheap.

$500k could only buy one car on my all time list... well.. almost. I would take out a second mortgage on my house to cover the rest.

    1) Ferrari F40

this one is $675k on ebay, and worth every cent!!!

    Realistically I would probably buy:

    1) BMW M6 converterible - for my fiance $100k
    2) Porsche Cayenne Turbo - if we go out with friends and need a little room $100k
    3) Porsche 993 Twin turbo plus mods - to have fun in $140k
    4) Hummer H1 Alpha - incase I feel the need to go offroad $60k
    5) Porsche 997 GT3 - to cruise around in $100k
    Land Rover LR3 HSE
