I've always been against anything and everything Hyundai, but has anyone seen the new Tiburon model? I think it's '08, maybe '09. I was driving a few weeks back, and saw one at a red light. They've come a long way in means of looks. Also, the one I saw had cross-drilled rotors in the front, which surprised me. The SE's MRSP is 22,375 according to the HyundaiUSA site. The base's MRSP is $17,025, which isn't too shabby for a '08 car. The SE's MRSP is $22,375 according to the HyundaiUSA site. That includes leather seats, 6spd tranny, Sunroof, 17" Wheels, 2.7L DOHC V6, ABS, Track-Tuned Sport Suspension, Cross-Drilled Front Brake Rotors, and some other stuff. Curb Weight: 2,986
So yeah, slow, FWD, ...Hyundai, and pretty much crap. But, still. At least those cosmetics are improving. Decently cheap, I guess? I don't know anything about new cars, because I don't pay attention to them. So, I don't know how much of the stuff on this car is stuff you see on every new car now days. But, still at least Hyundai is improving. Maybe one day you'll see a RWD Tiburon with a turbocharged I-6 on caliber of the 2JZ-GTE or RB25DET weighing in at 3,000lbs curb weight... You never know!![]()
