My Question is how much should i expect to pay. ??????
Thanks
Ok, here's some advice i'll tell you from real-life past experiences i've had and comparing it to yours...

If charged:
*Racing ticket = 6pts, automatic license suspension no matter what age you are
----The ticket should be around $500.00
*Speeding fines = 6pts
---anything over 100mph = $500 and something dollars
*Reckless Driving = 4pts
---$1000

Note: This above was all charged from Braselton.

My advice,
You should've never admitted to anything and kept quiet like I did in my past experience. Act polite no matter what and try to keep talking back to the officer only when necessary. Don't street race anymore; keep it @ the dragway. Eventually every street racer will get pulled over at one point in time...no matter how smart you think you are.

*Get a lawyer; I only paid $750 for mines because my lawyer didn't have any experience doing my kind of case; he was all *DUI* only, he had thought it was a piece of CAKE. When you get one, don't lie to him/her, it'll just make it worser if you tried. Not that I lied but some lawyers will try and be aggressive and make you spill the beans before hiring him/her. You'll need at least a week ahead of your court date for your lawyer to work out your case for you. Lawyers can take a lump sum of their payment from you at the 1st appointment and take the rest of your payment a few weeks later; that's the best they can do. I've had one asking for $3500; I said HELL NO! $1500 is a reasonable price my friend... You can start by searching Georgia Traffic Lawyers or if you have the money; go to Prepaid legal services, they have a very large office and alot of people & experiences. In the end, the lawyer will have a negotiation to reduce your speed or get rid of racing; it's all in the hands of how good your lawyer is...

*Go complete the Defensive driving course online; it's about $34 before shipping your certificate. Very convenient and helpful for you. And do some community service as much as you can before your court date to show the judge that you were sorry for what you did. Go with Redcross/Atlanta chapter or whatever community you would like to serve.

*You'll have a choice of relocating your case to a different jurisdiction of your choice if you are not satisfied with your case results in your current jurisdiction. But there is a 50/50 risk the next jurisdiction will not guarantee a better result or even worser. If you can drop *racing*; just get it over with my friend. You will have to plea guilty and pray the judge agrees with you/your lawyers negotiation. All you have to say in front of the judge is No, your honor & yes, your honor. Nothing else unless you have questions for him/her.

*Also get a copy of your driving record from your local DMV for about $8 for your past 7yrs of driving. The lawyer will need all your info on the 1st meet.

My conclusion from helping you out;
I was treated far worser when I used to have a thread up but in the end all the people that really gave me advice boosted my confidence up and I was fine in the end. I give you props for posting up and we all learn our lessons at some point. I'm not just helping you out here but this post will give other(s) out there factual advice and opinions on what to expect when it's their turn to face the consequences in the future. Hope I helped you out alot there my friend.

P.S Now, where's my REPS PEOPLE!!
