Also you do not have to be speeding in order to get hit with a racing ticket.
Get a lawyer that has pull with the local traffic court judge or prosecutor that will be hearing or trying your case

Yeah I would definately get a lawyer and dispute it. I got a racing ticket 3 years ago which was 100% bs cuz at that time I was driving a 100% bone stock 1999 Toyota Camry and I never broke speed limit nor did anything to make someone believe I was. Never the less I got a racing ticket and that female cop took me to jail(I was 17 wtf a minor), and when my court date came my lawyer got the racing charge dropped...as well as my possession of less than 1oz of marijuana charge dropped!!!!!!Originally Posted by TIGERJC
You and your dummy friend could've pleaded the 5th. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law.Originally Posted by xs042
But you incriminated yourself so if he wrote the statement down, you are screwed. Congradulations.
K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

don't tell them you were pulling.
don't tell them he "won."
you've both royally screwed yourself over. basically, you both pleaded guilty and confessed right there, and he has THAT on video.
video, yes. Audio....more than likely not.Originally Posted by osiriskidd
Often dash cams are connected to a wireless mic on the officer so there could be audio - but 12 states do not allow audio recording.Originally Posted by DieselNuts
GA allows it. depends on if the county had enough money to afford it. courts are officer biased anyways.

I HOPE U HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR A LAWYER AND FOR THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS UR ABOUT TO SPEND TO KEEP UR LICENSE. HE PROBABLY SEEN THE COUPLE OF PULLS YALL MADE, THATS PROBABLY WHY THE FIRST WORDS OUT HIS MOUTH WERE ASKING U IF U KNEW WHY HE PULLED THE BOTH OF YALL OVER.

I think the only way to know for sure if he caught you on video is to go to court, but I'm not sure on this one.
that's it. your friend admitted it. And I have to agree with everyone else, your license will be gone if you are under 21. And there is a lot of driving class and community driving ahead for you.Originally Posted by xs042
