Yeah. I can attest to the Never admit to anything verbally. If they say you were doing a certain speed. You can actually ask to see that they had clocked you doing that, and you can ask them to see if their radar gun is calibrated correctly. I had a cop that saw me go through an intersection thinking I was going to fast, but I was just accelerating because a truck decided to make a last second turn and slammed on my brakes so I had stopped and needed to get back up to speed with traffic. When he pulled me over he asked how fast I was going. I stupidly said out how fast I thought I was going, just trying to be the honest guy I am... and then he turned around and said, "Alright well I didn't clock you, but the speed limit is ## and I am going to write you up for *insert said speed here* in a ##."
