Default Any LT1 Camaro guys out there?

Anyone ever have experiance with the LT1 Camaros? Might be getting a 94 LT1 auto. (Yes, auto but add a stall and hella line pressure and you wont complain )

Anyways, how hard is it to get power out of these bad boys? I found some cheap turbo kits on the eGay for like 1000 shipped... I figure throw a much bigger turbo and run it till it with some spray till it blows?

Then go for the LS1 and 4l60e swap.

    Input? Ideas.

If you have that kind of cash to throw around I say go for it. I know a guy with one but not auto and he threw a big truck turbo on there and it's fast!

    Bozzio for president.

motor should be fine with boost, but your trans/rear end wont...the rear end stock is already under stress with the stock lt1 power...it just needs to be beefed up a bit. My friend has one and the trans doesn't like to handle the abuse, he just had to get a rebuild(Auto trans as well), and he put a few upgraded parts in it in the process it likes to break loose going in 2nd now with the stock motor.
