    "Brake-Boosting" is a term that I have seen thrown around lately and I was wondering if someone would explain the process to me.

    its very simple just hit the gas and the break at the same time, so right before that 3rd honk comes along you're already in boost.

    12.2 @ 115mph

    It's fine for the tranny (assuming you have something that holds power) ... just horrible for your clutch.
