You guys suck at making a 'bash civic' thread. I think it has turned more into a 'lets make me feel ok about my civic' thread

Plain and simple either don't mod it or if you have to make it "fast" don't touch the outside. Start where honda went wrong and redo the motor (top and bottom ends) and fuel delivery system
