Alright, well I don't know if most know I have a 1970 Plymouth Cuda. Well before the restoration it was a 6cyl car. The bay is empty and been painted with the car for now. I have a 440 for it with an auto 727 torqueflight tranny with it. Well, I also have a rebuilt 225 6cyl that's been bored and slight other things sitting for it as well. Here are my two options since I miss it and want to drive it again lol. I would prefer to have the 440 rebuilt before I put it in and I don't have that kind of cash to throw around right now I want to get the car out to meets and such since it's nice out lately.
A. I can go ahead and throw my built 6cyl in while I save for my rebuild since it's already got the setup for it. Then swap them for a one time deal.
B. Go ahead and swap the 440 in and drive it without rebuilding. Save up and then pull the motor and rebuild it.
Keep in mind that since someone tried to steal it I have it parked an hour away at my dads house and I no longer have a place to work on it where I live. So time isn't something I have a lot of the get it swapped and such.
So I basically just want some input because I miss driving it.![]()
