ok i have a stock b18b in my crx. CAI, DC Sport Header, Exhaust. Im looking for some cheap ( no more then $200) ways to pick up a few tenths of a second in the 1/8 mile. I just want somethin to pick it up a little bit. So where should i start?

you want to pick up 1/10ths for $200

    good luck.

If you can do the labor yourself, maybe some cheap 403 cams.

but then you would have to tune it.

Your better off saving money an doing it right the first time.

I would recommend one of the Hytech replica headers im selling (Proven 7-10whp gains) an i sell them for $300.

I would then do some 403s, an tune it

What exhaust are you running? More than likely it may be hurting your power. Vtec is right about the headers. I used the dc's and didnt really notice any difference.

Like he said, your best bet would be to save some money and do it right. Cams, and some block work. If you plan on revving it high AT ALL, pick up some ARP rod bolts.

If im not mistaken, the 403's are mild cams so no you wouldnt have to upgrade the Valvetrain.

So the answer i think is no.

The exuast might be holding you back. Idk what that type of exhaust as far as the muffler puts out. But when i had a muffler stuck on the end of my car vs a cat back. I had full exhaust and intake i dynoed at 131whp. After i changed it i dynoed at 138whp. Paid a lot for the cat back went with skunk 2. I highly recommend it btw! umm i went and got a new clutch and 7lb fidenza flywheel for 230. Made a HUGE DIFF!! they said i should be at 155whp now

    lol sneaky pete nitrous!

but decent tires, lighter flywheel and cluth, and stickers should do the trick.

Super cheap: XTD 6 puck / flywheel combo off ebay and find a used nitrous kit. Yes, it will run more than $200, but it will make that thing run like a scalded dog and won't take very long to save up for it. The flywheel/clutch is $230-$250. Used nitrous $200?? Save some more or don't do either.

Why not look for chassis upgrades? Like new bushings or shocks or not having your wheels look like this / \ on your car. Used slicks on steelies...... Trying to add HP doesnt always make you go faster.
