    Manufacturer as in car manufacturer that the transmissions come in? or just transmission manufacturers in general?

    my first car was a olds intregue the trans droped at like 80k so my answer is obvious

    i would say the the trany that cames in a 03 jetta 1.8t or gti. i have first hand experience and some other people say they have been throught a couple of them so at the end they just end up swaping them for the 6 speed trany out if the gli.

    kia rio's used to own one and put a total of 4 trannies in it before the motor blew
