As bafbrian said, it really isn't that hard. You just need the right tools and a little patience. If you can build it right you won't have any problems. I know people that have had their ls/vtec setups running for about 1 1/2 to 2 years now with no problems. Just do a little research, or find a friend who knows what they are doing.

As for forced induction I personally think the GSR is one of the best motors to boost on if you are just going to run it as a stock daily. The b18a/b is also great but you won't be able to run as much hp as running a vtec setup. I have had a few people running on 10-11psi stock motor. Highest I've ever gone was 8psi(fear factor) All in all it depends on how you want it. But I advise that you get it tuned after you get it all done.

What ever you decide ... GL.
