I find it funny that all of these duhmestics come onto IMPORTatlanta and say "get a V8". More cylinders does not equal more power.

Oh and to the OP... Do whatever your little mind wants to and quit asking for other peoples advise on your car

The reason I say sell it and get a v8 is because I have a G35 and I am selling it because I bought an 04 cobra. If I put $7K in the G35 for a supercharger kit installed and tuned, It still wouldnt be as quick as my STOCK Cobra. As for your claim that more cylinders does not equal more power, thats partially true. More cylinders DOESNT ALWAYS equal more power, true, but if you take power adders out of the equation, then mo cyl. mo powa.

You're just mad because your car is slow. It's ok... you can trade your car in and get a V8. There's still hope.

Yeah the OP definitely had to be joking to ask this question on this forum and expect a serious answer. . . get some wheels and do some suspension stuff. Save money and go F/I to make real power, bolt ons don't respond too well on the VQ.

"dont respond well" is an understatement. I had close to $2K in bolt ons and only gained 15hp... F THAT!

Im an import owner and im more concerned with the import people that are proud of their under 100lb-ft of torque cars.

And torque = more important than hp.

And don't give any drag racing nonsense.....i understand power as a means for corner exit.

will result in lots and lots of wheel spin. If you like top end power then sell the Z immediately. If you like to have fun with a good bit of torque the Z is nice.

Put it like this.....At little talladega road coarse two weeks ago.

A G35 from Z1 with a pop charger and an exhaust system was running circles (litterly) around Supercharged and turbo charged cars.

    why?

Well #1 she proved (yes Russel's Wife) that brakes + tires and great driving are more important than power. In both heats she lapped the field full of 400+ hp 300zx, 350Z and G35s. Power is good if you can put it down.....otherwise it's just there to oversteer and slow you down.

Driver mod is the best thing for any car, especially when you are throwing more HP on the car. I agree that putting hte HP you have to good use is better than just throing more power at the equation.

There is a big difference between "tuners" and "drivers"

One is about talking about his car.......the other can show what his car can actually do.
