Default Found a Si-R integra sitting around?

ive been looking for a car for nearly 8 months, everything either turns up to be to much or gets sold before i buy it. and by everything thats maybe the 2 or 3 cars ive found here in abilene or near here. but my wife seen an integra sitting behind this old rundown gas station with a bunch of random other cars. i went up there and looks like someone turned it into a small shop sorta thing and all the cars have been sitting for a LONG time. i left them a note to call me about the car, hopefully people actually go there during the day. but i was looking at it the car isnt in bad shape, needs a matching set of wheels, one qaurter panel has a bit a dent, needs a paint job and some interior parts. but since i seen the hood was popped i decided to open it up and see what motor it was or if it had a motor in it at all. being i used to have a LS motor and a GSR motor i figured i would know the rest of the codes still but that was a long time ago. it had a B18C code and i wasnt sure what it was other than atleast a GSR. then i looked it up and one site said b18c was a jdm SI-R which ive never heard anything about and one site said if its a 98 plus its a type r. but im pretty sure type r is c5, i didnt check but it didnt look like a 98.

dont know why i dragged this out into a detailed story of my attempts to find hondas/acuras out here, but would it be a good idea to try and make sure i get this car, and judging by the info i gave about the car what should i look to spend? my guess is they dont know anything about the car because its the only honda/acura out of the 15 cars sitting there, grass is growing to the top of the hood in the engine bay, and its probably one of the only of 5 or 6 integras ive seen since i lived here

b18c was the engine code for the jdm integra motors for the equivilent of the gsr, and the type r. So in theory it could be either one. If the car was left hand drive then it was a motor that was swapped in so there is no telling what kind of integra your actually looking at. So the offering price could vary from 1500-10,000...it really depends on a lot of things.

im pretty sure the car was left hand drive, but i wasnt paying much attention to the dash or steering wheel, i wouldnt mind having a rhd though, that would be nice.i just interior door panels laying around inside, i was just focused on looking at the body, seeing if it had a gsr badge or anything and checking the block code, didnt really want to stay there being i was probably trespassing. hopefully they dont care for the car or know anything about it and will sell it for like 500 or something. they dont even have the driver window up all the way. and its been through some bad storms here

yeah, along with a lot of other gsr parts and some that are used with b series motors. If the motor was never touched it could be a type r, but if it was and it has a pr3 on the head you have chances of it being a b16 head. Check for green paint somewhere near the distributor and if you take off the valve cover check to see if it has dual valve springs on the intake side. You could make out the pr3-2 between the 1st and 2nd cylinder...

so i just want to check that to see what the year of the head is from? then the head code (pr3 or whatever the head it has) is the one on the right side of the 2nd cylinder? and if its a pr3 and has green paint by the dist. that determines whether its a b16 or type r head? think i got all that figured out i read up on some other forum. i knew you could identify something by the 4 little circles just never knew which ones meant what, the other 3 mean anything inparticular?
