THE NEW RICER TACTIC?
IS IT BEC OF LACK OF MONEY OR IS IT FOR THE ASTHETIC VALUE W/OUT ACTUALLY WORKING FOR IT? AND WHAT IS IT WITH ALL THE UGLY COLORS BEING USED?
TRYING TO BE ORIGINAL? PAINTED OEM WHEELS DOES NOT EQUAL JDM OR JSPEC OR WHATEVER THE NEW TERM BEING THROWN AROUND THESE DAYS IS.....

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SOME RARE WHEELS IF YOU'RE REALLY OUT TO IMPRESS, IS MY OPINION BUT I DIGRESS....

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THIS? AGREE OR DISAGREE...DO YOU HAVE AN OPINION? LETS TRY TO KEEP THIS AS CIVIL AS POSSIBLE...
My opinion is you need to find a new hobby. Badgering people that are "customizing" things is a lost cause.

Modifying OEM parts has been around for DECADES:

Feel free to pick on people that don't spend the time to do it right though. Had a E46 M3 in the shop the other day with black spray painted OEM wheels and they weren't even cleaned first. Paint is bubbled up and flaking, you can see the scrapes and scratches that were on the wheel underneath the paint, etc. Now if it had been media blasted and powdercoated or even just prepped properly for paint then sprayed then it would be fine.

I've seen people do headlight conversion then wrap the $hit with electrical tape. Buy a damn bag of heat shrink for the same price as a roll of electrical tape for gods sake!!
