fixed the boost leak and vacuum line goin to the fmu that had a small hole in it, and im running 11psi pretty consistently now only dropps off a little at higher rpms.
hoping to take it back to batlground to get retuned in the next month or so![]()
well, good luck running 11 psi daily... i remember when boeturbolancer blew his **** up twice with a 75 shot. it's been a while since i've been looking into the 4g94 turbo scene.

well i know quite a few guys on my lancer forums who are doin it just fine. as soon as you get up to 13+psi is when you need to worry. the stock pistons and rods blow at 14..
not to mention turbo and nitrous are a completely different things.. and when it comes to stock lancer motors they are just week as hell. there are guys i know that blew it up more than once just running a 40shot..
are the guys online running FMU's/reflash or running standalone's?
most of them did the same thing i did. some use fmu's some dont. but most everyone uses ecuflash
Well I just got a port and pollished 4G93 intake manifold off of a Mirrage. The g93's runners arent as bent and are shorter for better flow, and the intake penium can be ported to 60mm vs the g94 can only be ported to about 52mm.
So anyway i want to get a ported throttle body as well to go along with it. RRM makes the stock g94's that are ported out 5mm over stock (duno what the stock messure ment is) but they are $300.. and they also charge you an extra 100 as a core charge and then send them your stocker and yadda yaada blaa....
So i need someone who knows alot abot Mitsubishi parts that are compatible with differnt cars. Like if i could possilby get a 1G eclipse throttle body or somthing like that. Just an example cuz ive herd they flow better, but have no clue if they will fit :/
Nice turbo build looks like you know what you are doing for someone for being so young, I cant really talk I am only 20, I am going to to pretty much do the same thing with my Impreza.

n yeah about a a year ago i didnt know the first thing about turbos or moding cars at all really for that matter.. lol. just have done a **** load of research and ive always been pretty handy with tools and stuff, so im really glad it turned out great.
but a lil update.
installed my ported 4g94 intake mani and megan racing coilovers and now it rides and sounds really good.
but on a random hot day my clutch went out annndd my radiator cracked... so ive got an Evo 9 JVT Racing radiator and ACT stage two clutch on the way as well.
once i get it running again im goin to try and take it back to dan to get it retuned again and see what im pulling now
You need to be retuned ASAP the car was never tuned to run 11lbs. Give me a ring at the shop and Ill work you into the schedule. We may just need to check it and make sure that its running ok so it may not even have to be tuned.
