Parts are becoming harder to find every day for lt1/4 engines. LS1 parts are actually as cheap or cheaper. Not to mention there are tons of bolt-on kits out there, the ls1 is lighter, AND a better engine then the lt1. Really seems that the ls motor would be a better choice.

When you do the swap you should also get ready to swap out that trans like me im going with a t56 but for the moment i am running a 700r4 with a 3500 rpm stall.
How much hp are you looking to make? Plus arent you on ls1tech?
