    i needed some info on the X-303 cam and i was having some trouble finding what i wanted on the net. if anyone has any info about the X-303 cam and or a site that gives me all the specs of ford letter cams that would be great thanks.

    its not a good street cam...I suggest a e-303 great for auto an 5 speed x303 is not good for auto unless you have a stall 2500 or higher

    X-cam won't work with stock pistons.

    depending on his pistons, it will , you will have to do a valve clearance check, or notch your pistons, easy to do, but that cam is just too much for a stock 5.0 get a E cam an be done with it, I ran a E cam an works fine

    Not to mention you need to do a complete valve train set up with some 1.6 rockers,double valve springs, lifters, unless you got money , use the E cam you be happy, sounds, great ...an is a good street cam, but still can be nice for the track

    He has a stock long block, it won't work.
