Is this a 60 roll? Because with the long GSR gears he will drop to first, be right at vtec and leave the prelude.Originally Posted by lazyvietx

100-175... gsr again.
How is the prelude supposed to win? Gsr vtec is louder.

If it's from a roll, the gsr should win.
If it's from a dig, it's a driver's race really. I've heard of preludes beating gsr's on prelude forums, and i've heard of gsr's winning.
The gsr has better gears and is lighter, but the prelude has more torque, so it really is gonna be a driver's race from a dig.

secondly, how are you going to base the winning of a race on the loudness of vtec to your ears? LOL
I say it depends on the driver and the condition of each car, it should be pretty even. I had a 2001 GSR and Prelude.

PRELUDE IM SO BIASED I DONT GIVE A ****!!!
vtec is louder on a gsr so it will win hahahahahhha
i left a 5th gen prelude pretty bad in my 99 gs-r
(60 roll, 3rd gear IIRC)

It's da driver no da cars!!!
After the drop to 1st gear at 60mph remark, I thought y'all would realize my whole post was a joke.

a race is about a lot of things..
about the driver, car, setup, gearing, road course, weather, tires,

i know u were joking , still pretty funny...Originally Posted by cgEvan
It all depends on how healthy, the motors are and the drivers.
The two cars run about the same time ,in stock form..

The prelude has to be stick too, since all GSR's are 5spd. Auto 5th gens are very slow and no way it'd beat a GSR.
stock 5th gens will beat stock gs-r's
with unless you got one ****ty driver in the lude.
litsen to me ppl
Prelude, cause it looks better. That's my biased opinion.
Prelude... just because... its more aerodynamic???....and because I have one... hahaha!
My Prelude Is Bumpin
so i guess it REALLY matters thenOriginally Posted by TypeRPersonality
Prelude, know why? cause torque wins races. And cause im biased. But im definitly with WhiteAccord...

The Veyron is a auto so on a straight line, the Veyron will always wins.Originally Posted by AnclyT
And for the turbo Civic v. Mustang. There are much more factor than just hp and tq. Weight is one big factor.
I would say Prelude will win the straigh line, where GSR will win tracks.
What does it matter? Its like winning the Special Olympics...
if they're both stock then its pretty much the driver. they're both slow stock though!
Yeah you probably got your ass handed to you. Any given civic weighs probably HALF of a mustang.Originally Posted by cgEvan

remember its made to be a sports car and it does handle like one, don't knock it till you've driven it.
lol @ 5.0's staying stock, biggest POS ever when stock
