Default Can anybody Here Inspect a Vehicle With a Salvage Title

I need a car inspected so I can get a rebuilt title. The car is a 1995 240sx SE. The car is ready to go I just wanted to know if anyone on here could do it or knows anything about getting it done. All input is appreciated and reps will be given as always.

    Thanks guys

Yea, it's really hard to get it done. My neighbor Jeff might be able to do it. He's our painter. Try him I guess and see 770-437-1313

just cal the dmv and they can give you a list of times and locations that they do state inspections. you have to have all photos from before and after so they can inspect those parts of the car directly and they pass or fail you. key is you have to pay each time pass or fail!! hopefully tracy's painter can shed more light but i know you can call the dmv and thats how it works unless you find the that i dont know

You actually have to be certified to rebuild cars to get a car with a salvage title inspected. They changed how it works pretty recently, I believe.

It's not hard. I had to have my hatcd inspected. You take it to this place in west bumblephuck (the dmv will tell you the location) and they jack the car up and literally check everything from the frame to the axles.

It took them like 10 minutes, and then I got my title. I can't remember how much it cost, but it wasn't expensive. The only thing is, the place is in a remote location.

Don't drive the car to the inspection.

Make sure you have receipts for everything replaced. Make sure you have no warning lights...ABS, CEL, ETC. I believe only a certified rebuilder can have a car inspected so make sure you have had someone like that sign up on everything before you go up there.
    "Cool car" less.
