    Default Styling a '98 Civic _Most Cliche' Thread Ever_

    I already feel like i just went back in time 5 years.

    Anyway,

    Good friend of mine picked up a Silver '98 Civic EX Coupe with 40k on it.

    He wants me to help him style it.

    I already have my plan of action in mind so we'll go conservative:

    99-00 front Conversion since he will be repainting
    Lip kit/ CTR style headlights
    CTR Front Lip
    Maybe SI Sideskirts with an Si Front (NO SI badging)
    Coilovers
    Wheels??? Most likely 16s or 17s

    Not going All out JDM or anything like that just want something that will not make it whole grain.

    POST PICS and Names of recommended Cosmetic styling.

    i agree with this but here's my even simpler suggestion...

    96-98 front CTR Front Lip (or EK4 lip)
    Coilovers
    some 15s or 16s maybe 17s if the wheel is hot.

    something like this:

    96-98 CTR lip








    Here's the EK4 lip




    Oh if need be...

    Aftermarket Grill
    And
    Aftermarket Mirrors are always nice

    Look at the front bumpers really closely. The 96-98 has the foglights inside the cut out of the bumper. The 99-00 has it's own slots for the foglights. And the cut-outs are a little different

    99-00 fornt end with a lip looks the best lower it a little some 16 plus oversize offset would be nice

    the mods i listed were simple and inexpensive.

    i do agree with the 99-00 frontend deal but like i said i was just trying to save money i guess

    I'd do the 96-98 Sir front end that consists of :
    Sir front bumper with the sir mouldings and Sir front lip, and I would also do the 96-98 Sir headlights... No fogs...

    To me, it looks better than the 96-98 CTR and not as played on, at least here in Ga, as the 99-00 front end conversion.
