umm if you committed the offense BEFORE they changed the law then they cannot charge you with it. look up "Principle of Legality". its one of the 7 principles of criminal law. it states "no crime can be commited nor punishment imposed without a PRE-EXISTING penal law." they had to have changed that law before you did the u-turn. sorry bout the crim justice lesson..just got out of class
