Just wanted to post this pic and see if this is how anyone else ran their intercooler piping on a BB6.
Well....ok I'll be honest.....I'm just excited about the turbo project and wanted to share my excitement

Ford Fusion headlights.. and rsx tailights.. wow what a POS ricer.. nice way to ruin a car man!!
That would be a correct assumption.Originally Posted by Frög

i take it to heart.. i had a prelude, and they are beautiful and awesome cars.. but WOW.. rsx tailights is a downgrade, and Fusion headlights is defenetly a downgrade.. looks like ass.. sorry but this is honestly how i feel..
Why does anyone do things to their cars? Because they choose to, because they like it, and they enjoy upgrading/customizing their cars. People can flame me all they want. As long as I enjoy my car, no one else's opinion of it's appearance should matter.Originally Posted by TRYMY4.0
No need to apologize. That is your opinion and I respect that.Originally Posted by Frög
Well I appreciate your honesty. I wanted something different; something that wasnt "follow-the-crowd". No worries bro.Originally Posted by TRYMY4.0
as far as your original question:
Frog - That is indeed a gorgeous Prelude, and definitely one of the nicer ones I've seen. Thanks for your help with the intercooler piping.
thanks- good luck with your project.. what turbo you putting in it?Originally Posted by 19'sPrelude

cool.. what are you planing on boosting it at? 9psi? or 7psi?Originally Posted by 19'sPrelude
I havent set a pressure in concrete yet, I'm going to finish the build, take it to get tuned/dyno'd and see where we end up.Originally Posted by Frög
Better plan on sleeving that block
we'll see how long this block lasts, i've got a second block that I'm waiting to buildOriginally Posted by blank cd

Wanna get rid of that other block?
btw, what other prelude things do you have? PM me
I bought the block brand new from Honda so I could build it out. So I'm really not looking to part ways with it.Originally Posted by blank cd

Well like I said, I'm going to boost this first motor and see how things go. If it pops, I'll have my new block finished and ready to swap out. No worriesOriginally Posted by TRYMY4.0

Yeah, the one I've got in the car now is fairly new. It's got roughly 30k miles, runs strong and is moderately built. We'll see though. No big loss if it blows.
i actually like the rsx taillights but idk about the headlights. i think i've seen your car somewhere online before. anyways about the ic piping i would go to somewhere like preludezone.com or preludeonline.com b/c there's plenty of write ups about this topic.
Thanks for the honest opinions and not just jumping right into flamming me about it. Hmm I didnt know about PreludeZone.Com, I'll have to check that site out. Thanks bro

Thanks for the info. I'm not boosting the stock block more than 7-8 psi so I think I should be fine while my new block is getting built. Getting my slim fans in today, still waiting on some douche bag to send me my injector clips then I'll be ready to fire it up for the first time. I'll keep the thread updated with the progress.Originally Posted by joeblo

I'm not a fan of your cosmetic mods but if you can pull it off more power to too you![]()
Thanks for the info on the turbo. What do you mean "if you can pull it off" ?Originally Posted by Ludester
That's exactly what I mean. I don't like what you've done, but if you like it and you can pull it off then more power too you...
