H2B, again, is NOT a K killer, at least not in a straight line. It got that reputation because they rape, when perfectly set up, on a road course. You've got the large powerband, and "big" [for an N/A, mostly stock Honda] numbers of the K series with fewer gear changes. On a street setup, with similar mods, you're looking at neck and neck with all other things being equal [ driver skill, chassis, etc.]

Don't get me wrong, I think they're interesting, I just wanted to clear up some of the BS.

Absolute truth. That's why I narrowed it down to similar mods, same driver skill, same chassis, traction capabilities, etc. It's all about which of the 'baller' setups you prefer: K-series or H2B. I used to own a mildly modded k20 {a3 w/ a2 head/kpro, s2 stg1 cams, I/RH/E}, in a heavy ass EP3 and honestly, I outgrew it. Too much $$ for reliable, useful power in that heavy of a car. In an EF/EG or, hell, even an EK chassis, it would have been a pretty sweet setup.

I liked the H2B setup too, I've never owned or driven one, but I knew as soon as I saw it, that it had huge...here's the kicker...POTENTIAL.

Then I realized how dumb I was, got rid of it and bought 2 cars.
