haha ive seen someone put 80w90 gear oil in an engine before... but then again ive seen someone fill an engine up with oil all the way to the oil filler hole too so nothing surprises me....
75w90 was in my transmission for a year and a half and i've never had a problem - it actually shifted quite well. I don't recommend it though as GL5 can eat bronze/brass synchros![]()
But in your motor? WTF it says gear oil on the bottle![]()
