    Out of what's on the list, I'd get the Mazda6 V6. But for the amount of money you'd pay, I'd get something older and more fun.

    I'd rather take the 4 cylinder Mazda6 because there's more parts available for it. I wouldn't pay for it because it's too damn heavy for one. The V6 is just a car you buy for bolt on's and run a mid 14 at best. The 4 will take you farther thanks to the generous aftermarket support.

    price is an issue, hence the spec v that i can get for 5. it'll be a dd for now, then perhaps somethin to play with once i can afford another dd.

    if the mazda6 4cyl is the mazdaspeed version than get that if not then go with the 6cyl. good DD imho. who cares if you build it...... get something nice

    Mazdaspeed 6's aren't slow. 274 HP with AWD is not slow.
