RSX-s VS. TEggy LS

ok so at the meet at plasant hill this guy wants to race my type-s for 20 dollars. So first question to him is what u got under the hood. He says stock ls. So im like stop ****ing lying and i start to argue with him. So i say lets do this for fun(since i know he got way more than just stock LS). So we go and race from a roll at about 5 mph. We go off at 3 bips which i did, and he takes of leaving me about 2 cars at a start and 4 at the end. we did it about 3 times and same result. We didnt do no races from 3rd guy which i would had liked to.

I wasn't surprised at all that he burened me, cus ik he good some good **** under the hood. SO we go back to pleasent hill and than he tells me its stock. BUT i do have some dc header......The whole time i was trying to make him pop his hood, but he didnt.

I beleive he has a rebuild GSR engine and alot of other good ****.


I DO HAVE MAD RESPECT FOR HIM. THAT CAR SOUNDS GOOD, LOOKS GOOD, RUNS GOOD, AND BURNED THE ESX-s.

We having a rematch in about 2-4 weeks when i change my clutch, balance my tires.

He told me he had a b18 with skunk2 intake manifold and thats it. LOL He was either LS VTEC or GSR he bought the car from a friend of mines the car had a gsr engine mild build and he bought the car from him and replaced a GSR with LS I mean who stupid does he really get WHo would swap an LS over a GSR

A buddy of mines ls integra with cams and b16 pistons walked on a rsx-s with i/e from a low roll.....So just something to think about.

you obviously know nothing about hondas. The B20A3 and B20A5 in the prelude is a weak motor, and not really a part of the B series family. Its known as the bastard B since not very many parts are interchangeable. In stock form the A3 had about 105 hp and the A5 had about 135 hp, neither a very respectible number.

If you hear someone talking about a "B20" swapped into an integra or civic, it is either a B20B or B20Z, a much stronger engine. It is only rated at 140hp, but has more torque than the B20A family.

You may have beaten a B20A prelude in a sunfire, but that doesn't mean you would beat a B20B/Z powered civic or teg... not by a long shot.

oh and as for the RSX-S, they are quick, but nothing a GSR with a few bolt-on's can't handle.

i have a 98 LS with only a short ram intake, and ya... its not quick

pulled up to an RSX type s today, and i got smoked badly... im pushing maybe 145 - 150 and the type s has how much power? about 250 or something right?

My buddy had a b20 teg,with i/h/e/ and cams...I seen him beat rsx type s all day..A type s with race headers and reflash is a different story.

U believe in a k series to much son!!!There good ,but don't under estimate b20's.There power comes in alot sooner then a vtec motor,which make it a good 1/8 and 1/4 mile motor
