do you talk down to base modle cars

hey i just had to post this to see any one else talks down to lesser cars of thet same family for example like how some STI owners think they are high **** compared to a WRX just want to know ia's take on it

I've never had any STi owners talk down about my wrx (that I know of). But then again the Subaru community is generally a pretty tight one. I'm sure there are some ******* kids out there with STi's that talk crap about wrx's though.

not me honestly i wish i could have a wrx to dd.. its not like a type-s rsx to a base rsx... I they are soooo close especially in the 06-07 models but i admit when i had a type-s i teased some dumbass rsx base owners

yeh he gives me hell all the time.. since tunerfest.. b/c he would end up beating my sti.. i only hit 12psi.. BUT I FOUND MY BOOST LEAK I want to re-race him

I think most N/A FCs are jokes, but I'm stock and most of them are modded and we make the same times (they can beat me on occasion) but yeah.... I shouldn't. The TII just got SO MUCH more than a trubo upgrade. the LSD, stiffer shocks, more durable transmission, larger brakes, AND turbo just make the N/As pretty far behind from the start.

Yeah I know, reliability is not my Forte. However, if I had unlimited funds, I'd be driving an N/A P-ported 24A too haha. The N/A Rx-7s are also lighter, they're not pushovers, I just love having a TII instead .

i just can't see the ideal of babying a motor that begs to be beating like a **** all turbo owners i know baby the damn thing never really haveing fun an i love auto cross and the touge so a turbo would not really help in these
but i will say this boost is cheap as **** but you get what you pay for

I don't know what you're talking about, I beat the living crap out of my engine and drive i tlike a turbo should be driven. The TII also has more over the N/A FCs than just a better block. It has a better transmission, stiffer suspension, larger brakes, lighter hood, wider 5 lug tires, and a limited slip differential.
Simply put with 13Bs Turbo > no turbo
now for 20Bs N/A P-port = mild street port turbo < heavy modded turbo
and finally,
4 rotors should always be N/A, so much power from the block, it needs to be on tap lag free.

boost isnt for me. i plan on autocrossing and boosting my car will make it nowhere near competitive for the class. plus i dig NA alot better

hehe turbo II, my fc is a na, but has the same brakes, 5lug, auto adjusting suspension(still working lol) with some lowering springs, and a lsd. Its called GXL. only diffrence is that i got 6 ports and im slower....

but no i dont talk down to base model cars.... usually

The lighter hood came on 91 verts. those are na. they also came with the 4pot brakes, and 5 lugs. I dont think the suspension is stiffer. The tranny only beefer cuz its is handling more power then a na. Im pretty sure the gear ratios are close, if not the same. lol.

P.s. dont say all these advantages that turbo 7s have over n/a's cuz there is only a few :P

And don't compare the Vert with anyhting because it is the heaviest 7 of them all. I was saying TII has the lighter hood when going for performance. The S5 GTU, GTUs, GXL, and TII all have 5 lug wheels but all non GXL TII S4s had 4 lug, and the S5 SE has 4 lug too. True, many N/As have 5 lug wheels but the TII(and GXL) have 10.7 inch front brakes and 10.3 inch rears over the other N/As with 9.5 and 9.8. THEN if we're talking GXL comparison, they had every single option and despite the LSD and 5 lug drivetrain, was slower than the base models. Therefore, at least in my opinion, the TII is more than just a marginally better 7, it's a MUCH better 7.

Look, I'm not trying to come off as an a$$, but I just think the TII is a different car entirely, one that I personally favor. I also didn't want the spread of false information that they can't be driven hard without falling apart. also the specs above are all true specs as well.
