Default Did swap and half shaft wont bolt....help

    like the title stated!!!
yes, my cousins and i did a 95 LS swap for his 93 si hatch and got everything going until the half shaft didnt bolt up to the to the block.....so we went and bought a 2nd half shaft thinking that its the half shaft so thats why it didnt bolt up but then happens to turn out just like the 1st one we had!!!so as of now thats the only thing that is wrong with the car, everything started up and no check engine light or nothin at all....

well, i have a couple question to ask???

    what can it be???

can it be the B16 tranny we using for it???

can it be that the motor or anything is warp'd???

are you sure it's going into the trans all the way thats the only thing that would keep it from bolting up all b series halfshafts have the same bolt pattern so it should fit unless it's not a b series

Are you sure it's not an auto half shaft. There is a difference in the automatics and the 5spds. They look the same but the mounting flange is positioned in little different. Good luck.

Im just talking out loud here:

90-93 integra halfshafts are DIFFERENT than 94-01 Half shafts

One has a male end, one is female

Auto Halfshafts are different than MANUAL halfshafts

Axle seals are different between CABLE and HYDRO Transmissions

Now, if you used an AUTO BLOCK, wouldnt you have to use the AUTO Halfshaft? Since the halfshaft bolts to the block, if the motor was originally an auto, the manual shft wouldnt fit correct?

What you need to do is take a picture of that halfshaft you HAVE and where its not bolting up so we can see it.

He has an auto half shaft, the blocks are the same between the auto and manual, the halfshafts are differant. The position of the diff is a little further back on an auto car, thus the reason that it doesnt sit flush to his engine. Buy a 5-speed shaft that will fix the problem.
