because those cams have tons of duration on the low cam alone not counting the high cam so you have to worry about valve to valve clearance before you can even think about piston to valve. to set them up and run them the right way you would have to sink the valves into the head quite a bit to keep the valves from hitting each other down low.
trust me i ran them in my engine. as for the ctr's why the hell would you want to use the heaviest factory honda pistons on factory ls rods even if everyting was setup perfect you could spend a litle more money and make more power with aftermarket parts.
just buy some eagle rods for cheap and some 11:5 or 12:1 cp's or something and make more power with better parts and it will run way longer
