92-95 is OBD1 and you would have to convert your EF to OBD1 to run the OBD1 B16; that motor is a tad stronger than the OBD0 though. OBD0 is more of a direct plug & play into an EF.
kevin hit it right on the head its if you go with the 92 version you will have to do a hydro tranny swap as well so id go for the 88-91 first gen b16 just get some cams and you will get the 10hp that your missing from not getting the 2nd gen
other then the 10hp are there any major drawbacks of the 0BD0 motor over the obd1 motor im prob not gonna build this one too much.
no just save yourself the trouble and get the 1st gen one its so much easier bro check out the ef section we can help you out more in there

I do know that the OBD0 B16 dizzy sucks, it went out real soon after I started revving to 9K. Eversince I've been converted to OBD1, tuning & dizzy has been smooth sailing.
Not to mention tuning (hondata) no longer officially supports OBD0 now.

obd 1 hands down for the ease of tuning and the ease of finding parts that aren't wore out pieces of crap from 20 years ago lol
