i'm running HID's, 10k. i believe 6k is actually the brightest. 8k and above are nice colors but not as bright. in my sig my lights are on.

6-8k are the best (i believe). I like my 10's, they are bright enough. I suggest spending the extra money for dual ballast if u dont have a seperate high beam. I will eventually

6000k is the perfect amount, its white with a great look. it looks like HIDs where as the stock 4000k's look like a halogen against them.

actually HID's run cooler than standard halogens.

4300Kelvin has the most lumens (stock on most HID-equipped cars).

Higher you go from that point (# kelvin), you'll start to loose lumens. Most people like 6000k as it gives the HIDness (white color, and more lumens than halogens).

I'm currently running D2R 8000k bulbs due to the color (it is right inbetween blue and white).

    LoL~ My bad...

I was thinking about my LED parking light keep burning out due to the heat from the HID, but it would have been the same way if my car came with halogens...

I don't have fogs yet. I'm thinking about getting a set if I don't buy a commuter car. I am/was going to put yellow vinyl on the fogs anyway.

thats what i did. i want to purchase 3k from nitro, but then i have to remove the covers cus it'll be dimmed down. I like riding around with straight yellow on or off.
