    we should start a local club/group thing for miatas. i think theres enough enthusiasts around here to get a decent one going.

    There's already about 8 groups going...just need to find the one that suits you. There's:

    1. Old folks into giftshops, campouts, and leaf tours
    2. Regular guys into modding cars & automotive related activities
    3. Ricers
    4. Hardparkers
    5. Attention whores
    4. Teenie boppers
    5. Drifters
    6. Forced Induction and HP junkies
    7. Noobs
    8. Spec Racers & Autocrossers

    Some of these cross mingle.

    I guess I could slot into groups 2 and 8.... Where the hell do these people meet? I've never heard anything. Maybe I need to pay more attention.

    Group 2 tend to meet secretly to avoid the attention whores, teenie boopers, ricers, & noobs.
    In honesty you will find them scattered everywhere.

    Group 8 meet at Gwinnett Fairgrounds, Road Atlanta, Atlanta Speedway, Turner Field, etc etc

    Group 1 are called Peachtree Miata Club, non automotive activities for the elderly and those not interested in cars.

    why would you buy a miata if you arent intersted in cars...?
    anyways, i plan on autocrossing, and ive been around it some so i guess im 7 & 8
