    my aunt drives a 3.5 alt.. torque steer homie.. other then that i love the VQ's trying to find me a maxima again.. or an SE-R Alt

    They are def. good looking cars but I also find it a let down that the fastest stock 0-60 and 1/4 mile test was done on a 3.5se

    Stock for stock a 5 speed manual 3.5 Altima is faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile than a 6 speed manual SE R Altima. Motor Trend and Car and Driver both made a point of stating this fact when they tested the SE R when it first came out. The SE R is heaver with the same power. Also with the SE R you have to shift 3 times to reach 60 and only twice with the normal 3.5 Altima. The SE R does however handle MUCH MUCH better and looks a million times better.

    so true my friend, so true! I have proved this point on the street as well! the altima se-r is one sexy ass whip! I plan on converting my body parts on my car to an se-r

    thats was sup, well you can find an se-r! As far as the maxima's go, finding a 3.5 6~peed is going to be fun, they are rare!

    god this thread is funny. i would murder any altima ser with my 3.5se. i have raced several and they dont have the long highway gears like the se does. the 6 spd is ok for digs i guess but, they still would fall on thier asses. dont get me wrong the car looks great, but with that heavy ass body and heavy ass 18 inch wheels it couldnt pull itself nowhere without nitrous. i have a few videos floating around here somewhere, let me find one and i will post it up.

    I have a 05 Altima SE-R and I was pretty impressed with it for what it is...Looks and performance...
