    Ok i want to know what ya think bout both of the engine.and which would be better with my car.(92prelude si) i personally go with the f20b since its 200hp just like the h22a but with a higher red line and its lighter. Let Me know guys.

    I would just get an H22... F20B is limited.

    h22 and f20 are the same weight

    do an h, just because they are easier to work with. however they both suck.

    apparently only the ones you have dealt with suck. I have never had a problem with an H series not making good power. In fact, I've always had a good experience with H22A's.

    I used to own an F series motor and it is hard to find parts for...but they are though as hell.

    ok, i will tell it like this, now that i read this is the allmotor forum lol, they make good power for allmotor without having to spend gobs of money, but if you want power (boost wise) they suck. Also depending on chassis they are good. if they are in a prelude they are weak, eg they are quick etc etc.

    lolol I dont know of a stronger engine for the prelude.... My last H22A made well over 215whp, and it seemed to run great in my prelude.

    boost wise open deck sucks, close deck will put down good power!! this is all motor by the way! i hope my built h22 type s will put down good power

    aftermarket for f20b is limited, but.....it is a sweet motor, if you want to stay NA and just sport that nice bluetop. They sound sick to! If you dont want to mess with it, get the F, but find someone that has experience with the swap as the wiring can be a little tricky.

    f20b-better mpg then H22, but less torque, and higher rev! i'll go with the f20b!
