Wow this thread got way off topic!! pls get back on topic im sure drama is not why the thread was made.
Thank's
Well anyways, back onto topic. At first I wanted a G35 so bad. They are awesome, more luxurious then the 350 and pretty much give you the same power. The 350 is a very popular car on the road now and I try to be different, then again so is my S2k, at least in georgia (not in ohio where im originally from). The RSX Type S is the same, but then again it is very powerful for the money and i love K motors...mmm. S2k, my baby. I love my car man, vtec is digusting with my set up (headers/full exhaust and intake)but dont get me wrong, its good stock too. I cant wait until i can afford a turbo kit! But there is no room at all. Its a jet cockpit, no joke. Everything is for you though. Its made to comfort the driver, which I dig. My car sits 29 days out of the month on avg. I keep it as my toy, and thats it. Definitely would be harsh as a dd, so I drive my 89 EF Hatch. All im trying to say is it really depends on what you want man, if you want a DD I'd go with the g35 if u got the cash, or a RSX if your on a tighter budget. Non daily, S2K FOR SURE. But then again, these are my tastes and not yours. If you want anymore insight on s2000's let me know. Good luck, either way all 4 cars are sick and kudos for good taste.

Oh and then theres those ignorant ones who don't know the difference between the G35 and the Skyline. They believe its a JDM Skyline all day.

^^^ still not gettin that???? ATK, you don't want another one of us? haha
I'm biased with the S2k, but here is my very non-professional opinion on these cars:
350Z - Great power, very fun to drive, great torque, great sound, nice modificationability (I know, goin' George Bush on you), good price for the power
G35C - I haven't driven one, but this is what others have said: very very smooth, classy, a little more refined than the 350, not quite as quick, sounds great still, still easy to modify. Mostly for looks, but will go when you want it to
S2K - if you get one, get an AP1 for higher revving, or AP2 for newer and better styling (IMO). Not nearly as much power as the 350 or G, not nearly as much torque, looks sexy, girls love convertibles, easy to modify with a lot of JDM parts for it, best handling of the 4, good price for the highest power/liter engine on the market
RSX - looks nice, more laidback I guess? still have good power, but FWD ftl! My friend has an '05 type-s, responds well to basic modifications, has plenty of USDM and JDM aftermarket support, the most room of the group mentioned.
If you are looking for classy cars around $20-30k range, also consider the Volvo S60R slightly used, or the Mazdaspeed 6 slightly used if you want a little more room. Those are INSANE sleepers with over 300hp, 6MT sedans.
If you like the S2K, buy mine~3,500 miles, $28k
my opinion may be slightly biased...since i own a s2000, but whatever. take what you want.
s2000 is more reliable. i've never had an issue, period with n/a s2000s. my buddy with a 350 is always going into the dealership for minor defects and worrying about the famous oil consumption issue.
i'll admit. the 350z is a great city car with all the HP and TQ. it has style and sounds stupid purdy in stock form. but so is a s2k. it drinks less gas...and rides on rails all day long.
there's hardly any room for anything except another passenger in a s2k. quite similar in the 350z as well, but maybe a bit (not too much) more room for racking stuff since it's a hatch style coupe. 350z is quiter, and has options for more features than the s2k. if you don't plan on driving up in the mtns. or track...g35c is probably a nice luxurious city car too. it's feels heavier than a 350z, but it looks dope when it's lowered on some deep dish set.
if you want a all around fun car and dont want to compensate anything...i think 350z is the way to go. if you want pure performance...s2000. not suggesting that the s2000 is the greatest performer among the list, but it's less practical than everything on the list. care for more luxury than sporty? g35c. if you run short of change, get a civic Si or RSX
tried to point stuff out while being neutral. again...it's completely my opinion so if you think otherwise, don't try to wipe me down because i don't come back to back up my opinion. now rep me for typing all thisgood luck finding your next car

Well i did not sift through the 7 pages so I don't know if anyone left a response like mine but here goes:
I've owned the RSX type S, I liked it. Yes it wasn't as fast as the others but it was still a nice driving car, insurance and gas were not that bad either.
Friend had an 07 350z , he traded it in for an 08 GTI, if that tells you anything. Yes the car is fast and fun to drive...sometimes. The thing was (as I was told) the 350 is not usable in everyday life. No space for anyone else but a single passenger, only a little room in the hatch for some stuff. Gas got super expensive, cause lets face it, he did not buy the z to putts around like an old man. Also insurance was expensive (and he was a 28y/o driver with a good history) not to mention I felt the interior was cramped.
Friend had an 06 s2k, I hated the interior, so cramped. It was a great looking car, and handle good. However I hated the power delivery. Once she got up into Vtec, nice and quick, but around town and down low in the rpm she was better then average honda but still nothing amazing IMO. I find that low end tq is much more usable then super high rpm power. THink about it, at what point in the average normal day are you going to need/want/have the ability to really open her up and not get in trouble? If you need to take a car to 7k to use her full power, not that great as a DD is it? Now don't get me wrong if I wanted/had time for a second weekend car this might be it. On twisty drives through the Mt's and such, awesome awesome car, I just do not think it's a nice everyday car.
Friend had a G35 (same guy who had a s2k) I like it so much better then his last car (except his Fx, but he hated that thing). Nice balance of sport and luxury. Fun driver, nice fair amount of room and it looked hot. Sounded good in stock form, plus has nice tq for everyday driving. If it were me this would be the way to go.
As it is I drive a Mini Cooper S (as a gap to the 135i) and I like it. Decent TQ for around town, killer gas milege, and handles supurb. No room in the back for PPL, but I removed the seat and put in the delete kit for it, now I have tons of space for loading things in.
OP, if you want to know more about Z and G, as well as other cars, stop by our monthly meeting this Sunday.

recently i was looking to buy a 350z, but i ended up buying a s2000, and i fell in love with it. i would go with the s2k if you can fit comfortably in it. i ended up totalling it , but it was fun for a little while. i'll prob get another one.
