Not to bash the GTR (since I think it is sick), but a rear mounted transmission to get 50/50 weight ratio isn't new technology.

its just called the Nissan GT-R, not skyline GT-R. A lot of websites are incorrectly calling it the skyline GT-R. Look at Nissan's website. Its called just the "GT-R". It doesnt say skyline on the car anywhere.

I think they're just doing that just so they can say, "We've kept the Skyline out of the US."

It's cute, but the flares in the rear could be bigger, and it should stop seeing the Evo's dental surgeon.

The LF-A certainly looks bad-ass. I'd like to see how it turns out.

I think the LF-A will be incredible, but I don't think it'll knock the GT-R as hard as you're describing. The GT-R has more track/racing roots than the LF-A. But we'll see what happens.

I think so too. Considering the new IS-F is pretty darn dissapointing. Fake quake muffler tips, and dynoed just a hair better than the regular IS350.

I hope that LF-A will not be dissapointing. I'm too looking forward to it.

But at the same time, I doubt it will give the GT-R a run around, especially for the price the LF-A is aiming at (120K-ish). With about 40K more than the GT-R at least, I'm sure that something can be done with that money to the GT-R to make it greater than the LF-A.

I'm not talking about the manufacturers themselves, I'm talking about the models...the GT-R is pretty much Skyline heritage and is made for out-of-the-box racing whereas the LF-A will be more like "go fast with luxary." Sorry, I worded my idea wrong...
